A. Information You Provide
- Account Data: Your mobile number is collected for registration, OTP login, and account security.
- Business & Customer Data: You provide customer names, contact details, transaction descriptions, amounts, and related ledger details to record udhar (credit), jama (payment), and sales.
- Shop Information: Optional data like shop name, type, address, and logo to personalize your account and generate invoices or greetings.
B. Automatically Collected Information
- Usage Data: We collect feature usage data (e.g., number of voice entries, OCR scans, daily transactions) to improve the app and enforce free plan limits.
- Device Data: Includes device model, OS version, app version, language, and crash logs for debugging and analytics.
- Analytics: We use Firebase Analytics to understand feature usage and improve user experience.
C. Information Collected with Permission
- Microphone Access: When you use the Voice Entry feature, your voice is transcribed into text via local or cloud speech services. We do not store your raw audio permanently.
- Camera / Photos: When using Image-to-Text (OCR), we access your camera or gallery with permission. Images are processed locally or on a secure server for text extraction and are not retained after processing.
- Contacts: If you choose to import customer details from your phone contacts, we only use the selected contact data and do not upload or store your full contact list.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
- Record and display your transactions, balances, and summaries.
- Authenticate users and maintain account security.
- Send transaction reminders, due alerts, and notifications you configure.
- Analyze app usage to improve features and performance.
- Show relevant ads (AdMob) in the free plan and manage subscriptions for paid plans.
- Comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes if required by law.
3. Data Storage and Security
- All user data is securely stored on Google Firebase Firestore and protected under Google’s enterprise-grade security infrastructure.
- Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication with OTP-based login for security.
- We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and secure APIs for communication.
- While we take reasonable precautions, no system is 100% secure. Users are encouraged to back up important data using app export options.
4. Third-Party Services
We integrate the following trusted third-party services, each governed by their respective privacy policies:

5. Advertisements and Monetization
The free version of TMH may display ads via Google AdMob. AdMob may use anonymous identifiers and cookies for personalized advertising. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device’s settings under “Google Settings → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization.”
6. Data Retention
We retain your business data as long as you maintain an active account. You may delete your account at any time via the app or by contacting support, after which all data associated with your account will be deleted within a reasonable timeframe (typically 15–30 days).
7. Data Sharing and Disclosure
- We do not sell or rent your personal or business data to anyone.
- We may share limited data with trusted service providers (e.g., Google, payment processors) to operate the Service.
- We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
8. Children's Privacy
Our Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us immediately to delete it.
9. Your Privacy Rights
